Gavin grew up playing ice hockey and he was introduced to physiotherapy for sport injuries he faced. With the use of Physiotherapy, Gavin was able to rehabilitate from injuries, learn preventative measures and increase his knowledge of how the human body works in order to maximize strength and endurance. It was from those experiences Gavin decided to pursue a career in physiotherapy and help others recover from their injuries and improve their function.
Gavin’s most recent experience was as staff physiotherapist at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Gavin graduated from SFU with a Bachelor’s in Health Science. He completed his Physiotherapy Degree from the prestigious University of Nottingham in England.

Hansley Cagdan is the newest addition to our MOVE team as a Chiropractor. Hansley earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California, after completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree at UBC.
He has worked countless hours throughout the last year at the Student and Outpatient Clinic at Palmer College, treating a diverse range of patients and rapidly gaining experience and knowledge early on in his career. She’s a Registered Clinical Counsellor and works as a counsellor in both a clinical and private
setting. Her therapy is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and she has a keen interest in
working through trauma. As such, she’s completed refugee and trauma training and Somatic
Based Therapy training.
Pamela’s interest in counselling and trauma-based practices comes from her own experiences with
anxiety and pain. After a car accident that left her on the receiving end of an injury, Pamela
became interested in working with trauma and chronic pain and the connections of both with
anxiety and depression. Learning to navigate her own relationship with anxiety, pain, and
depression allows her to root herself in compassion as a practitioner.
Pamela’s connection to people has been a thread that she’s actively woven through the entirety of
her career. Long before working in clinical and private settings, she actively exercised her therapeutic capacities in the community. For many years, Pamela both worked and volunteered her counselling skills in the non-profit sector.
